On the white dress uploaded by diana.moca. I saw this photo in Russian forum Osinka, unfortunately also without description or source. I am afraid it is a model from a catalogue. There are similar dresses and tops in Top Favorites Collection for Adults. Have you looked there? For example, this top from http://knits4kids.com/collection-en/galleries-fav/upload?g_id=45 has similar motifs. maybe you can adopt it and make a dress. Or, in the online library, check French series Phildar and Spanish Paula, Tejer la Moda, they have similar stylish dresses and tops.

  28. Svetlana @ knits4kids says:

Yes please, either upload it here or send by email and I can add it. Thanks!

  29. alipali says:

Is there any way when uploading pictures of what people are looking for that if they know what its called it can be labelled on the photo. I recognised the Winter dreams caeplet but took me ages to find it amongst thousands of patterns and pages I still need to rename and put in folders on my pc. The 2 Jackets currently shown, I feel sure I have seen somewhere and I know the designers name of these but not name of pattern, with a name I may find things a lttle easier until such time if ever I get my pc sorted again.xx

    • Svetlana @ knits4kids says:

I absolutely agree with you. There is a Description field for putting this kind of information and the request to provide it in the upload instructions. But some users either ignore it or really do not know where the picture comes from. I hope they will pay attention to your comment.

  38. Mini says:

I do not mean to be rude, but the Drops pattern http://garnstudio.com/lang/en/pattern.php?id=3629&lang=en is not the same as the Ava tunic.

    • Svetlana @ knits4kids says:

That is right. But since this pattern is not free and no one replied to this search in a while I decided to add at least this pattern since it is so similar. I thought you could use it with adjustments. I myself do it all the time. When you work in rounds, it is really easy to adjust the size.

In this tunic, there are 12 ripple segments, worked top down. It means you should cast on a number dividable by 24  for the neck (since each ripple consists of 2 symmetric parts and therefore has to have an even number of stitches). It may be 96 (seems to be the case in this tunic), but it can be 24 st more or less. With smaller size needles, work 6 rows in garter stitch and proceed with larger size needles. Row 1: kn 1, inc 1, kn 2, kn 3 tog, kn 2, inc 1; repeat. Row 2: the same. These are rows without increases. Make increases in each 2 nd row by adding 1 st (pull it from between 2 st) 2st before and 2 st after the  kn 3 tog. After about 20 rows you should increase less often – in every 4th row. Separate for arm holes and continue with the skirt (8 segments instead of 12 before). Once you reach the waistline, increase in each 10th row. I hope you can follow my explanations. Sorry, my experience with reading/writing knitting patterns in English is rather poor, I do mostly crochet. You are welcome to ask me if anything is unclear.

  44. Svetlana @ knits4kids says:

Just an idea on the baby delight afghan. I think a similar, maybe even more gorgeous one, can be made by adopting a doily or table cloth chart or combining several ones. There are so many incredible patterns in the series 1000 Mailles, Decorative Crochet, Magic Crochet and many others in our library. It is not the same as using exactly this pattern but it gives you an opportunity to create your own unique version.

  45. Svetlana @ knits4kids says:

Dear friends, in most cases it was not me but other users who found the patterns posted here and mailed them to me. I simply added them. The same is about most of the content on Knits4Kids, there are many people behind this huge collection. I keep the contributors anonymous because this site is being visited not only by friends.

  47. Svetlana @ knits4kids says:
